Dr. Gurgula is a character in High On Life, that can be encountered in a Secret Ending of the game.

- His name is a parody to Bram Stoker's "Dracula".
- There are hints about Dr. Gurgula during the game, including his involvement about Translator microbes, the virus that destroyed Gatlus and his study of the human mind.
- Sweezy seems to recognise him on a poster in Douglas' Office, that is showing Dr. Gurgula together with Douglas. (One of the hints for the Bounty Hunter Forum post "I have information about Dr. Gurgula. Important". Necessary to complete the achievement Mods Please Ban.) Sweezy also mentions his involvement in the creation of Translator microbes.
- He is the only character to never swear or curse.
- It is unknown that he'll be a boss in either a future DLC or sequel to High on Life.
- You can find hints about him in Blim City by locating graffiti that says "Dont Trust Translator Microbes".
- At Skrendal Labs, you will find a holographic message to one of the Skrendal Brothers.
- After you finish the game, you can find him by going to Clugg's office and grab the hidden keycard in his desk, then you go to Human Haven to where you fly up until you see a locked door to which the keycard is needed, inside you'll encounter a room filled with human corpses that have been experimented. You would then see Clugg through a window and chase him inside Gurgula's lab, resulting the mad scientist to kill him and escape.
- It is speculated that he'll be the main villain in the "High on Knife" DLC.
