Gatlians

Gatlians are a race of sentient firearms in High On Life, and some of them become the companions and primary weapons in the game.

Overview

This species originates from a planet called Gatlus, which also became the victim of the G3 Cartel and was largely destroyed during their invasion. Many Gatlans were enslaved or infected with a virus.

The first Gatlian met in the game is Kenny, who is picked up shortly after the game's introduction and during the invasion on Earth.

Trivia

• The Gatlians are given inhibitor chips by the G3 that make them not speak.
  • Kenny was able to speak with a chip, presumably when his previous owner damaged it when he died.
  • Creature screams in pain with the chip, implying that it only restricts speech but not groans or screams.
• The Gatlians that the G3 Grunts use are purple and have sharp teeth, they are also surgically fused to their arms.
  • The purple ones may also be the Gatlians that gotten infected by Dr. Gurgula's virus.
